Trombonist Matt Haviland has played with such jazz greats as Illinois Jacquet, Maria Schneider, the Vanguard Jazz Orchestra, Steven Bernstein, and the Mingus Big Band. More recently, he can been found leading his own groups, often featuring original compositions and arrangements, and performing in ensembles led by Pete McGuinness, Scott Reeves, Peter Leitch, Frank London, and Diane Moser.
